The original concept of the character of Lucifer from the novel Convivium.

If you are curious as to why I decided to depict the most reviled character in the history of consciousness in this way, you may just have to read the book... or simply keep wondering.
I started this painting over a year ago, and only recently picked it back up for revision due to not being able to touch my oils yet. Besides, if anything, then this character deserved to be visualised for all the work that's gone into him on an intellectual level over the past five years.
