The second painting of the character of Lucifer from the novel Convivium.

[ Please check this journal entry for details. ]

The first painting, The Firstborn, felt slightly out-dated, with parts of it having been painted over two years ago. Besides, I needed to get this precise image out of my system, as it's been sitting in my mind for an age, but until now didn't feel confident enough to pull it off the way I really wanted it to look.

Photoshop CS
+ close-ups: one | two | three
+ appearance based on the description found in Convivium
+ reference used for the fabric and hands
+ this won't be the last one... I'm getting the hang of it.

in the end it's not about how many breaths you took, but about how many moments that took your breath away :)
Can you tell me what medium you use?
PS, oils, acrylic?
Difficult to tell on a monitor.
Whatever, I have been watching you for awhile and think you are gifted.
I really like it :) Inspiring work
wow amazing!!!
Strange seeing as my bf just played lucifer in a sketch show and if the hair was short and blonde it would look exactly like him... eerie!

Fantastic... the textures are sheer yumminess ^^

This is just amazing. I really love how you made the cloth. The only thing that bothers me is that the large leaf pattern thing on the cloth looks sort of like a watermark and not something in the actual cloth.

ever notice that the devil is nearly always a white guy. makes sense, it does.

I think this is gorgeos ^^ His expression is amazing, the folds on the cloth are very well done, and for some reason, I can't stop looking at his left hand.. oO

I mainly use Photoshop - like in this case. Also, you can usually see by the category a picture is in what medium was used. =]

And thank you. :thanks:
