much surreal i agree... this seems an artwork with too much simplicity, but it's the simplicity that makes this artwork beautiful. she looks so fragile in that pose with the feather in the hand, it's like if she was really lonely, alone, far away from others... also the colors fit well this artwork, such a great moment.

great job with the anatomy. composition is good too. and the fact that she's hiding herself from the light source is interesting. incredible realism; i thought it was a photo when i looked for the first time.

I've been feeling much the same lately. And the emotion and thoughts of the piece capture it perfectly. Words can't describe how much I like this picture. Infact, it might be the first thing that I've seen for a long long while that I wouldn't mind having up on my wall. I'd buy it if I had any money... ^^; Although, it seems to be a personal piece, so maybe not.
